Diploma in ICT

Meet the demand for practical ICT expertise, plus choose to specialize in network support or software development. Learn the theory and practice of ICT, graduating with technical expertise to support computing and networking environments, or in software development.

Some of the ways you'll apply your skills are by building a PC from scratch, loading, configuring and upgrading operating systems, linking PCs in a simple network, setting up a physical network and virtual machines (VM), setting up and running exercises on a Linux VM, emulating complex networks using VM technology or working on programming, scripting, IT modelling and database management problems in practical tutorial sessions.

Gain communication skills for effective teamwork or self-directed projects. The specialisation in network support gives you specific skills to work in the industry or to go on to degree level study in your chosen specialisation. The software development specialisation allows you to go onto degree level study in either the multimedia/web development or software development specialisations.
