Mechanical Engineering Department
Description of the Department
Mechanical Engineering department consist of three sections Automotive, Agricultural Engineering and Mechanical section and a driving school . It’s a center of excellence in both Mechanical and Auto body building in the region as well as in the country of Government of Kenya Africa Development bank and GiZ.it also has a driving school.
Future Development Plans of the Department
The department hopes in future to be self-sustaining and engage in income generating activities
1. Start production of machine parts
2. Carry out fabrication of parts based on customers specification
3. Establish a wheel alignment and car was bay
4. Scale up the auto body building after the project is handed over by GiZ
